Wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. The year has been rough with surgeries and rehab but we have so much to be grateful for. We are both healthy now and are able to do races which is the anchor of our life.

Training and racing with Linda has been my motivation to have both surgeries this year and to work hard to be ready to go next month. She is my rock

Another great WDW trip is over. I already miss being there and having great fun with my forum friends. Mini golf was a great time. So was the after party of the race. Rode Toy Story Mania 6 straight times!!!

At least the next trip back to Disney World is on 2+ months away for my 4th(and Linda's 3rd) Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge. It will also be my 5th(Linda's 4th) Disney World Marathon. First one was in 1996. Boy was that a long time ago!

Linda and I will be leaving for WDW and the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 13K night race in 2 days. It will be a nice 10 day trip to see friends at the race and do some serious Food & Wine Festival. This will be our second year of doing F&W. All I can say is don't miss going sometime. Lots of great food, wine(or beer), and music. We usually do 10-13 miles a day touring Epcot. This year will be no exception!

We will be having our annual mini golf forum encounter. It is always a kick in the butt.

Hello fellow current and future Disney racers! Welcome to my world.

This is my first blog post and will be brief. The Disneyland Half Marathon and 5K were last weekend. They were fun races. We saw many forum friends before, during, and after the races. The 5K is nice as all in the parks. The Half not as exciting as few miles in park and miles of switchbacking city streets. No Angels stadium this year was a drag too. The trail portion along the river brought back old memories. Linda kicked butt in both races. She is having a great race season and is headed to great rest of this year and for years to come!

These were first races since my 2 left knee surgeries earlier this year(Jan and March).
